Dustin loose tooth

Dustin was so happy when his tooth come off and guess what? he doesn't feel any pain. His teeth has been loose for a week and last two days ago when he eat Pizza, he accidentally bite where his tooth loose, he cried when he saw the blood and he says it was hurt. I gave him some salt water, it helps to stop the bleeding. The tooth didn't come off that time then yesterday, I keep telling him to keep pushing his loose tooth with his tongue then when I check it, I started to wiggle it a little bit and woolah! it comes off easily without leaving any blood spot. I told my husband right away and he said he will buy him a present after work. I put the loose tooth in a small plastic bag and took a pictures of him. I will add it to his photo album as a remembrance! ;-)

My best friend has always been the responsible one. I was always the one who wanted to party until the late hours of the night. I was always the one wanting to get a tattoo or body piercing. She was always the one reminding me I had a test at 8 AM or what tattoos looking like on old women. She has always been there to keep me together. I don’t know why she was surprised when I needed her help to move into my new house. I think she might have been surprised that I actually had a house. She was sweet though. After the initial shock, she came over and helped me decorate the living room. She showed me how she made sure to Shop Electricity Rates and Save in Texas. sing karaoke

I miss the time when me and my friends getting together in our house and sing videoke. It’s been a long time since I used our microphone. I’m kind a miss to sing karaoke and hopefully I can get back in the track and start doing it again, maybe I will invite some new friends and we’ll sing karaoke once in a while. Right now, I am not sure if the mic cables still working or not because the last time we use the mic, the kids was playing in it and dana was hitting the mic in the table. I just need to try it out then and see if it still working, if not then maybe I need to buy a new one.

I did a real grocery shopping this afternoon. I bought a lot of meat good for two weeks. I spend about 215 dollars. I am not usually spending this much when I shop, except when my husband is with me and if we do it all together on weekend. Since the city market is about 17 miles away from the house, so I decided to do a real grocery shopping. I didn’t make any grocery list, I just remember the things that I need for the week. More meat the better because I don’t want to go back again in the store this week unless if I ran out of milk for my little girl. Well, it went pretty good because Dana was just sitting down in the cart and Dustin was being a good boy just following me around. Because of that, I treat them to Mcdonalds after we shop. I also fill up the truck with gas. Now I feel like I can be more independent especially when it comes to grocery shopping because before, my husband do the shopping the most and I just stay in the house with the kids. I think it’s too much for him to do shop after work and I felt very good after what I did today.

If Dustin love instruments, we will not hold back to let him learn those. As a parent, we will support him in everything he do. We always wanted the best for him and if he wants to learn guitar or learn how to play piano then we will help him to succeed. I am not sure yet if they have it here in Monte Vista Valley but I am sure there are some professional tutor that would love to teach him learn to play this type of instruments. He is such a smart boy, so it won't be a problem for him to learn it. I would love to see him playing guitar and learn how to play piano in the future. It's a parents proud to see their kids or children be successful in this field.

Kids in their sled!

Sledding is surely fun and the kids love it. We make a little hill in the backyard that way the kids can sled anytime they want. We still have a lot of snow in the backyard and some part of it already melted but some are not. Well, as long the kids having fun, will try to invite other kids from our congregation to play with the kids. I am sure they would love it too. This is a nice picture of Dana and Dustin, you can see the happiness on their face ;-)

Snow fort

Dustin was so happy on his snow fort. Daddy made it for him that way he can play there anytime he likes. Just a right size for him to crawl in and out in that snow fort. Well, I called it snow tunnel. Dana doesn't like to be inside the little tunnel, she got scared but not Dustin!

Online Home School

We just sign up for my kids online home school for this year 2012 at time4learning.com. Actually we are planning to put him in a public school here in Monte Vista but then my husband doesn’t like the schedule for kindergarten. The school start very early at 7:45am until 3:00pm and as a parent we don’t want to put Dustin on 8 hour class. I think its way too much for a 6 year old kid to be in school that long. Maybe its okay for first grade to 8th grade but not the preschooler or a kindergarten. Dustin seems like the home schooling because he can learn a lot through the computer and I am here to guide him all the way. He is such a smart boy and her teacher said that his reading level is already in 10th level. We already did a lot of activities and he also complete all his lessons and he did pretty good. So far he can catch it up right away and figure it out by himself. He got 100% on all the quizzes and some of them, he got 1 mistake for the quiz and the rest, he did it right. I am so proud of him and so happy that he learns a lot and he enjoyed every moment he spend on the computer for his online home school. I can see that his progressing a lot and hopefully when he finish kindergarten, he won’t have hard time learning the first grade lesson.

classroom program

This morning, I witness Dustin’s classroom program at their class. My son got a part of the program, he is the one reading the winter poem. He is such a good reader and he did pretty good on his part. There are times that he stop in the middle and say “did I miss any page?” and when somebody tell him to read it louder, he will say “okay…” then he will read it again. It was fun and I am really proud of him. He is very confident and he knows what his doing. After the school program, we did a cookie decorating and of course all the parents are there. I help Dustin to decorate his cookie but Dana already had a bite in her cookie. It was fun and since we are moving, I am sure Dustin will going to miss all her classmates, teachers and friends.

They are really smart because the moment they learn those words, they will remember it all the time. sick kid

Having a sick kid in the house is not really good. Parents don’t like to see their kids get sick but what can you do if they get sick because of the season or maybe they got it from school or somewhere. It affects your sleeping schedule because you can’t sleep when they are not feel well. They keep crying at night and you need to take care and watch them all the time. Like my two year old daughter, she starts coughing at night 2 days ago and we’re giving her cough medicine. She doesn’t have fever though but it scares me whenever she cough because sometimes, she ends up throwing up in the bed. On that reason, we never get a chance to go service yesterday, Saturday and only Dustin and daddy went on service then today, Sunday, we didn’t get a chance to go meeting either, so me and Dana stay home and daddy and Dustin went to the meeting. She is really grouchy, she cries and wines a lot. Well, I know why she does that, because she doesn’t feel good and she really needs my attention. Hopefully she feel better soon. Can’t wait to see her being happy again and not being sick. It breaks my heart every time I see her crying. If she doesn’t feel good until tomorrow, I might need to call her doctor and let her in, just to make sure that she is okay.

I had great time when some of my friends came over last Thursday, it was nice to have them. Dana's yellow polkadot dress

This is the latest dress I made for my little girl. It was a yellow polkadot dress. Yellow is one of my favorite color and yellow is a perfect color for my little girl, her complexion becomes more lighter when she wear light colors like yellow, orange and pink. Dana's Potty train

So far, Dana's potty training was pretty good. She already know how to hold her pee at night and woke up in the morning and go to the bathroom and sit on her potty train toilet set. I always praise her when she do that. Before she go to bed, she also go pee in the bathroom. But usually in the afternoon, she get so lazy to get up and walk in the bathroom that's why she ends up peeing her diaper. I don't scold her when she do that, I just talk to her and let her know that it's nice if she pee in her toilet set in the bathroom because she is a big girl now. I think she's learning really well and time will come, she will realize that the best place to pee is in the toilet and not in her diaper. :-)

Three Children

My husband and I have two children, and we just found out we have another one on the way. Surprise! This isn’t something we were planning on, but we could not be more excited about it. We love the idea of having a big, crazy family. We both come from big families and have incredible memories of growing up surrounded by siblings. They’re built-in best friends, really, and we’re so happy that our children will have the same memories when they get older. The only downside to having a large family is that the costs start adding up very quickly. Our kids grow like weeds and it feels like we are constantly buying new clothes. The addition of a third who will be in diapers for the foreseeable future is making us just a little nervous. So we’re cutting costs wherever we can.
