It's nice to play in the backyard when the weather is nice as this. It was sunny, blue sky and its not really windy. Unlike this past few days, the wind are terrible. It was blasting and a lot of dust in the air. The tomatoes and peppers that we just planted couple days ago, it frost and it died. I don't think we will buy tomato plant and peppers again. :-)

trucker gps

A friend of mine ask if I have a gps in my car and I say No. I am not sure if we need it but if we does, I guess we can get one. Her husband bought her a trucker gps for their trucking business and she used it in personal use too but she’s not sure if she got the right one. She might need to replace it or get another one that way she doesn’t need to use her tracker gps on her personal use. I recommended her the trucker gps available online at thesource.ca since they offer a very affordable price. This might be the right one she need, but I am not sure, she might need to look at it and see for herself.

Playing in the backyard

While daddy is busy mowing the lawn, me and the kids are having fun playing. We took some photos, play tag you it and the kids are playing the rake. They play pretend that they can ride the rake like a horse. They just want to ride on my back. It was a nice day to play in our backyard. The grass is green and nice and the kids really having fun :-)

Is it that worrisome when your teenager kids drive the car and you don’t know where they are? I am sure many parents have the same problem like this. But you know what? If you really worried that much, you can get a real-time mobile tracking from getisight.com, I think that’s what they called fleet gps. We never have this one yet since we don’t have teenager living in the house but if we did, we will surely need this type of tracking device, that way we can track the kids and we can have a peace of mind and know where they are.

I remember what my mom told me before that I need to finish my studies before anything else because education is very important. I can use it in the future and find a better job if I have to. Well, I didn’t finish a master degree since we can’t afford it but I finish my 2 year vocational course. I got married in the age of 23 so I didn’t get a chance to take another course to pursue but I have a lot of plans. I wanted to become a designer and an artist and more on computer I guess. When the kids are big enough to do their own and start going to school especially my younger daughter. I might take an online course and see how it goes.

Family Bike Ride

Mike just bought me a new bike so both him and I have a new bike. The kids are so happy when we all ride a bike together as a family. Dustin just learn riding his bike without the training wheels. He made up his mind last week to take off his training wheels and a few days later, he already figure it out on how to ride his own. Now he had fun riding his bike and every afternoon we get a chance to ride a bike while waiting for daddy to come home.

Misting fan

When we’re in Grand Junction, every summer we always put the misting fan in our dog kennel. They love it especially Princess our female Mastiff. She just sit in front of the misting fan and make herself wet. We just moved out here in Monte Vista and I think their weather here is much cooler than in Grand Junction, so I am not sure if we need a misting fan this summer but if we did, at least we already know where to buy misting fan online or maybe we can just visit one of the store in Alamosa where they carry any other type of misting fan. But will see this summer. Right now, we are enjoying the weather, we’ll have 70 degrees this week so it is really nice to have a barbecue in the backyard.

faI never tried to buy fabric online because I‘m scared I might get the wrong fabric. We still thinking about what best fabric to use on our dogs elbow pads. For now, we just use denims and flannel type. We usually buy it at the fabric store in Alamosa. It’s about 15 minutes drive from home. I also like to sew baby dress for my 3 year old daughter and for myself. Right now, I don’t have any fabric to use, then I decided to look some fabric online and came across this website at fabriconthenet.net. My friend told me to look for kaufmann fabrics, this might be the fabric that I am looking for. I am still not sure but I saw some nice one especially their floral fabric. For me, its way too many selections and I am not good in choosing the right color and fabric unless I have someone to help me but maybe I can try and see how good their fabric is.

instruments

I didn't grow up with instruments, we don't have any instrument in the house. Maybe because we can't afford it. I remember the time when me and my friends just make our own instruments because we are planning to do a house carolling and we need something to make music. We make a drum made of a big can, maracas made of a plastic jar and we put coins inside it. It was a nice memory that I can't forget. My son really love instruments, we have a small drum for toddler but now they are not playing with it anymore. Maybe when Dustin grow up, we can buy him a Traps Drums or maybe a piano. Will see how it goes when he grow up because right now, he is into building blocks and legos.

Look at Dana's face, she was eating chocolate ice cream bar and the chocolate is all over her face now. She said, mommy my hand are sticky ;-) Don't worry baby, after you eat your ice cream bar, will wash your hand okay? We just give Princess a bath and she's laying down in the grass to get herself dry. It was so nice that Dustin ask me to take a picture of them together. This photo taken in our backyard :-)

If ever we get our new entertainment furniture for our new bigger tv, we will make it sure we can also get a stereo stand. We have friends come over yesterday and I am kind a worry when I checked our bathroom because we forget to put a new bathroom light. I only remember when my son told me, what happen to the bathroom light? and I say well, we can replace it as soon as we get our new bathroom lighting. For now, we can just leave it like that, we can wait until next week. They are still look okay, it just need to change a new bulb. The other bathroom needs a new lighting because I don’t like the style of it. I saw a nice bathroom lighting at ilightingsource.com and the Kichler Broadview Bathroom Wall light will be perfect in our bathroom because it has two lights and it's simple and look elegant.

Dustin was so excited when he get a chance to ride on daddy's motorcycle. This is his first time to ride and he said it was fun. They just turn around circle in the front yard. Just to let him experience to do back ride. So I told him to hold on daddy tight and don't let go. It was a nice photo though ;-)

My sister is moving to my town. She is totally sad to be leaving all of her friends in her current town, but I am trying to convince her how awesome it is going to be to live in Texas with me. I told her that we will be able to pick each others' kids up anytime we need to, we could even do a carpool. It is just going to be so nice to have family in town. I am thinking we will never have to hire another babysitter, unless we go out together! I told her she will get to Shop Electricity Rates Texas since she is moving here, and shopping is her favorite thing to do, no matter what she is shopping for! I am picturing Wednesday nights being our nights to meet at the Mexican restaurant every week. I will finally have someone to go see all of the girly movies with me. I can't wait! I think she will be really happy once she gets here, I know it is hard to leave a place that you have lived for fifteen years. I know that change is also scary.

plastic model car kits

My husband has this plastic model car, I am not sure where it is now, maybe it still in the garage because we still have some boxes that we didn’t open since we moved. He got those model cars when he was a little boy. He keep it as a collection but some of it are already broken. Dustin my six years old son wanted to play those plastic cars but I told him not because he might get hurt with it, it has some broken parts, either we need to throw it away or buy a plastic model car kits that way we don’t need to throw them. We can still reuse it and the kids can still play with it. Dustin love cars a lot and he already have a lot of hot wheels and matchboxes. He also have this all kinds of remote control cars, well that what all boys like. We can see his passion on cars and legos so I guess when he grow up he will become a good car engineer or a car builder. Will find that out when he grow up!

ugg boots

I saw a lot of young girls in our valley wearing ugg boots last winter. At first I really doesn’t like this type of boots because of the styles but the way I look at the other girls wearing those boots, its not really that bad. They look fashionable and stylish I guess and it fits perfectly when you wear jeans on it. I saw some cheap ugg boots online and maybe I will get one next winter. My niece like this type of boots and she would love to have one too. Well, I guess I need to buy two ugg boots, one for me and one for my niece. I wonder if they also carry ugg boots for a toddlers? That way my 3 year old little girl can also have one, she can wear it in a cold weather.

I can feel the spring time! Since snow are melting and the grass are dry, my husband and I decided to rake outside the frontyard. The leaves are all over the yard! I'm glad we rake all the leaves and of course Dana and Dustin help as well. They are our little helper. Love them both!

Our new house don’t have a basement but the house we live before when we moved in Grand Junction, I mean the house we rented have a basement and an attic. dinner at the mexican restaurant

When we moved in Monte Vista area, one of the favorite restaurant that we always go to is the "Calvillos Mexican Restaurant" in Alamosa. It's about 15 minutes drive to Alamosa downtown and its worth to go to that place. Their food is good and you can feel at home when you get there. Anyhow, last Sunday our friend invited us to have dinner with them at Calvillos Restaurant. It was such a nice dinner, I try different things in there that I am not familiar with especially the chili thing, I forgot the name. Everyone are happy and full after. We stay there about 8:30pm I guess, we really enjoy the company of our friends and their kids, the food and of course we will surely go back to this place next time ;-)
