baby carrier

Carrying a baby for a long hour is very tiring. I am sure many mommies out there doesn't like to carry their babies that long especially when they are shopping. That's why they provide a baby carrier so that parents don't need to worry about carrying their baby around the store. Well, I guess some parents prefer to have a stroller or a car seat, but did you know that babies like to feel like being held with their mom or dad? I love to carry my kids but not that long, sometimes I put them in the cart or in the stroller. My husband bought me a baby carrier before for my eldest but the one we got is way too small and it makes the baby feel uncomfortable. If we have a hip baby carrier then it would be great because they like to be held when I carry him in my hip and hip baby carrier is a perfect choice for a parent like me.

How about you? What do you prefer, the hip baby carrier or a baby carrier with a front pouch, backpack or side sling? Of course its both parents decision in which one would be the best for the both of them. So when it comes to baby carriers, you might like to visit babycarriers.com. They have great information to all types of baby carriers. To find out more, visit babycarriers.com!

eczema...

Last month, when we went to the doctor for Dustin and Dana's check-up, I noticed this baby that has a really bad eczema. They are sitting beside us in the waiting area. I'm glad Dana didn't have those bad eczema when she was little. I felt really bad for the baby, I bet he's having hard time with those eczema all over his body especially in the face. Hope the doctor will help him to get rid of those eczema. There are many eczema treatment in the market today and hope they can find the right one.

Dana's little doll

Dana's first doll. They are almost look a like except the color of the eyes. Her Grandma from Michigan gave her a wonderful presents. At first time she saw the doll, she grab it right away and give it a kiss and a hug. She loves it a lot. She carry it everywhere and play with it like a real baby. She put the dolly in her little stroller and even put her doll in the swing to make her sleep. Isn't that a cutie? Love this photos! Cutie!

11 months old Dana

Dana will be 11 months old tomorrow 26th of January. Her tooth on the top came out already. There’s two in the bottom and two in the top. She’s still nursing and she bites me. I tell her “No Biting”, but she really doesn’t understand. She cries if you tell her “No”. If she keeps doing this, I think I will wean her early. Biting is not funny at all. Their teeth are sharp and it really hurts. She also has a funny personality. She is just a cutie. I don’t understand why she doesn’t like toys. She prefers to play the electronics and other stuff that only adults can use. She likes to see everything I do. She is interested in the washing machine and dryer, the dishwasher, the TV, radio, remote control, flushing the bathroom; she likes to play magazines, cardboard and toilet paper. We bought her a toy cell phone for her to play but she likes my cell phone better. Maybe she knows that her toy cell phone is not real. This morning, she gets frustrated because she can’t open the door in the dryer. When I open it, you can see the big smile in her face. She don’t like baby food anymore, she prefer adult food. She loves to try anything we eat. But I still force her to eat baby food of course. I’m very happy to see a lot of changes of her at her early age. I can’t wait to see her walking by herself and hear her talking.

What Dana's love to do?

What Dana's love to do? Well, there are lot of things that she loves to do. At her age 10 months? She learns to explore and become more interested in Electronics and other stuff like Washing Machine, Dryer, Dish Washer, Stove, Oven and Microwave. She loves to gaze in the snow outside and loves to play in the bathroom especially the tub and a sink. She is not contented especially when you put her down in a place where she surrounded with lot of toys. She get frustrated easily. All she wants to do is to grab my hand and take me wherever she wants to go. If I let go? She get mad. She won't stop crying. It's really funny because she is so cute when she does that. She makes funny noise and funny faces.

Last night she was so fussy. We're thinking maybe his tooth bothering her but I think it's not. She just want to walk around and play. Even how tired she is, she's really fighting it. I was so tired last night and not feeling good as well because my tummy got upset with the food I ate. I got bad headache too and while I'm nursing Dana and trying to make her sleep. I run quickly to the bathroom and throw up all the food I eat. That makes me better after I throw up but this morning I woke up having a rumbling tummy. :-)

Teething...

When your baby is teething, it’s really hard for them to please. They keep crying and if you never let them do what they want, then they will throw a pit on you. At night, you won’t have a good night sleep because they keep waking you up. I am just worried because most babies when they are teething, they get sick and have fever. Dana my 10 month’s old little girl, her tooth just came out. There’s another one coming too. She keeps biting her finger and rubs her tongue into his tooth. We called her snuggle tooth. He is so cute when she smiled. But she’s not good when she cry! Because she really can scream! Hehe.

Renew Intensive Skin Therapy

Dana is suffering eczema for her first three months. We use different kind of moisturizer but none of them works. We use Eucerin and Aveeno. It works at first but Dana’s eczema always came back. She still have little bit in her cheeks. Her Pediatrician recommended us to use Eucerin Aquafor. I like that one too but it’s little bit oily. We also try to mix the Aquafor with Hydrocortisone cream. We noticed the changes right away. Her skin started to cleared up. After a week her eczema on her cheek came back again. One day, one of our sister gave us a “Renew Intensive Skin Therapy” from “Melaleuca”. She said that she used this moisturizer when her kids suffer eczema and it really works! We try it and I like it! Dana’s face is very soft and the eczema in her cheeks disappear. It smells good too! I told her to order me one because I already run out and I will pay her this weekend. So, if your kids suffer eczema, Renew Intensive Skin Therapy from Melaleuca is the one I will absolutely recommend. Try it and you’ll see the difference!

Dana's first time in snow!

Dana's first time in snow photos! This is her first time to go out in snow. She likes it a lot, she wants to sit down and grab the snow. We didn't stay too long because her face is freezing cold. I need to wrap her with a blanket to keep her warm. She looks cutie in her jacket with her hat on and gloves. :-)

Look who's walking?

Look who's walking! She is so tiny isn't she? She's very happy that she can push her little stroller by herself. She did it and I'm so happy that she really enjoy pushing her stroller.

Nice shot of her! I captured the moment that she's waiting for! to walk alone with the help of her little stroller. hehe ;-)
Daddy helping her to get up because she fell.

10 months old Dana

Dana is 10 months old now and she’s almost walking! Maybe few months more, she can walk by herself without any support. She don’t want me to hold her both hands. For her, one hand is enough. Sometimes she forgot to hold my hand and just walk. She did good though because she can walk 5 or more steps. She fall in her butt most of the time and she got scared every time she fall. The thing that she likes the most is to crawl and walk going to the bathroom. I know bathroom is not a very good place to play because there are many germs in it but of course I make it sure that the bathroom is clean. She just like to stand up in the bathtub and play the curtain. That’s why I always keep an eye on her all the time because she crawl so fast now and I don’t want her to get hurt. She loves to play under the table and play peek-a-boo. So cute to watch her doing that. For 10 months old? She’s kind a mature in that age. She’s a smart little girl. She knows what she wants, she wants to see what I am doing just like cooking, cleaning, washing, folding clothes and when his big brother Dustin brushes his teeth, she wants to see it! She’s curious in everything!

I think it works!

It’s been three days since we took Dustin at the Allergy Specialist. We already noticed the changes. The antibiotic helps a lot. His runny nose cleared up, it’s not color yellow anymore and it looks clear now than before. He don’t have hard time sleeping. With the help of the hot water mist that we bought at Rite Aid, he can sleep better at night now. I think the medication really works! But as usual he still blowing his nose but not all the time. He is still a happy, energetic little boy and we are hoping that he will get over his sinus infection.

Sinus Infection

We took Dustin three days ago of November 24 at the Allergy Specialist. We’re worried about his sinus because it didn’t go away. It’s been almost a year that he has problem in his nose. He never stop blowing and snipping. His nose always plugged up with mucus. It seems like it doesn’t bother him that much because he is still energetic and have lot of energy. The Doctor says, that when the kids has sinus infection, they doesn’t feel any pain at all. He also says that Dustin don’t have any skin reaction when they did the skin test for allergen. So, his nose problem is not cause of any allergy, it was sinus infection. He has a sinus infection for almost a year now. We even didn’t find out right away. We thought that Dustin nose problem is cause of weather changes or something, he has allergic to any dust, food or anything. Even his Pediatrician can‘t tell that he has sinus infection. Make us wonder why? She keep giving us prescription for him to try but none of them works. We are so thankful to find out about the cause of his runny nose. We are glad to bring him to the Specialist. Now, we are hoping that the Doctor prescription “the antibiotic”, will help Dustin to feel better.

Drooling and Teething?

Drooling is one of the signs when the baby starts teething. Dana gums starting to get hard and seems like she’s ready to have her teeth come out. She keeps biting her finger and because of drooling, she started to have facial rash in her cheek and ears. We use different kind of moisturizer and I think the Eucerin Aquapor helps a lot. That is her pediatrician recommended. As what I noticed, she doesn’t have discomfort at all especially when she sleep at night. For her food, I gave her cheerios in the morning, rice cereal for her lunch and dinner. She doesn’t eat much of her food. I think she love to try adult food! We give her little bit of our food and she’s happy. But we need to be careful because it will affect her bowel movement. So far, we are very aware that sooner or later her teeth will come out and hopefully she won’t have any symptoms or problems when that time comes.

There she is! Almost walking!

She will be 9 months this coming 26th of November. And look! She’s moving around while holding on to furniture especially in chairs and tables. She pull herself up into standing position and try to reach everything she see in the table. She loves to walk than to crawl. She grab my one hand and go! While she’s doing that, she’s making a lot of noise, saying “mama”, “tata”, “dada”, “deeaah”. So cute every time I hear her saying that. It melt’s my heart when she call me “mama”. Sometimes her dad get jealous because she rather say “mama” than “dada”. I am sure few months from now, she will learn more words. For now, she’s a happy and energetic girl. She has a lot of energy that makes me worn out. hehe :-)

Playing Guitar...

Its fun to watch your little one when they started to learn how to walk, crawl, stand up and play. Like at this photo, i was very surprised when she started to turn on the guitar and she's having fun when she hear the music. She smile at me and she loves it! Isn't she cutie?

Peek-a-boo!

So silly that my little girl is trying to hide under the chair. She wants to play peek-a-boo. She's having fun even though she hits her head a couple times. She crawls a lot now so I need to keep an eye on her all time because you never know! They will fall and hit their head many times before they learn to do it by themselves

She's crawling!

My husband was gone for two weeks. He missed a lot of things! He didn’t see Dana crawling yet, so I am sure when he come back, he will be surprise on how Dana changed a lot since he left. He will be back tomorrow afternoon. He went to Alamosa for work. Two weeks is kind a long week! Its hard for me not see him for two weeks. But I can’t do anything about it. He needs to work and we need the money. Anyway, Dana will be 8 months old this coming 26th of October. She knows how to crawl now and she look so adorable when she crawl. She is just a sweetie pie. She knows how to stand up by lifting her body up. She can also say “mama”. Every morning she say “mmmmmamma” isn’t that cute? My heart felt joy every time I hear her saying that words. I can’t wait to see her walking and start to talk. Here is the video I took yesterday when she crawled.

Yellow Dress

At last, I had a chance to touch my sewing machine again. It’s been a long time I didn’t make another dress for my baby girl. This Sunday is our assembly. So, I decided to make a nice pretty dress for Dana. It takes me whole day to finish it and I’m so happy with the outcome. Here is the pretty yellow dress I made for her. Isn’t that lovely?
